Wundrbar weight differences

I took this morning 2 Wundrbar, one vanilla, one chocolate hazelnut, as I hesitated between which one I'd have for breakfast. I was struck by the difference in weight and size by holding them in my hands, so I weighted them.

Although it's written 100gr on the label for both flavours, the actual weight is very different: 87gr for the hazelnut one, 123gr for the vanilla one, both with the wrapper. Visually, it's also noticable when unpacked.

You might want to have a call with the plant manager . I got them as part of the order #5087 made 2 weeks ago, if it can help you track the batch number.

I noticed the same big weight differences in the first batch of the bars as well. Perhaps they are weighted by the box and not individually...

Hi @SnarkBe, thanks for letting us know! Most of the production of the Wundrbars is hand-crafted, which can result in some weight differences. The weight per batch should have the average weight of 100 grams per bar, although the difference you've noticed is beyond the maximum deviation. If you want to receive a compensation for this we would understand, please send us a mail to support@queal.com!

Thanks @Lieke_Queal, but I don't need a compensation. It was more a FYI than a complaint. It never happened with the previous version of the Wundrbar, the ones with 2 layers.

This got me curious so I weighed a few of mine (two boxes total). Most were within 4 grams of 100, above or below. One chocolate bar was 84 though, and one was 109.

The average of the two boxes was 99.4 grams per bar which seems well within spec so it's not like we're being shorted or anything, but I would be happier with less deviation.

I couldn't agree more.
We're working with our production partner on how we can reduce the standard deviation on this.
