Hey guys!

We've done some work to improve our webshop over the past couple weeks.
And we're A/B testing that live right now.

This means about 50% of you may see the new webshop design when you go to buy your next shipment of Queal!

I'd also be more than happy to explain the thought processes behind some of the decisions we've made on the design.

Love the Sidebar, great for navigation.

The layout and the colours seem to be a little off. I assume this is currently being implemented?

I seem to not be able to get on the improved site atm.

The grey with white was hard to see in some spots, the text seemed floating in nowhere because of the white background (as if the grid were off), the elements didn't seem to line up very well and it was hard to focus or spot the important things at a glance.

Had a look just now and agree that the grey text in the sidebar is too low in contrast with the white background for me. Problem text is this -

SHOP SUMMARY
PACKAGED DEALS
PRODUCT CATEGORIES

Also on products themselves - same low contrast grey / white

Am using Opera on MacOS

Thanks for the specific feedback @trtr!

It is very easily readable on my screens, but it could very well be that a different setting of contrast/brightness on your monitor may make it too hard to read.

I've set the headers text in the side menu to be a darker grey (may take up to a day to update due to caching).
The text next to the sliders is purposefully light on the eyes, as the sliders become very busy otherwise.

Yes I can see the difference on the sidebar now.

Its an improvement in the contrast on the 3 x headings, whilst still making it clear what are the headings and what are the more important links underneath - that you actually want to draw the eye to.
