Just an update, I got the latest Queal Shaker now and it's very nice.
Pros:
- Good size
- Sturdy
- Rounded dome so no powder sticking
- Wide mouth
- Easy to wash, just shake water a few times, clean the mouth and it's good to go.
Cons:
- The ice grate looks like an afterthought - there is no support notch in the bottle so it's somewhat free-floating. When I shake it, it often goes a bit sideways. However, it does prevent clumping, so it does its job just fine.
- The cap (the one covering the mouthpiece) is very shallow and therefore hard to put on properly without getting the thread misaligned. The Buchsteiner cap is taller and is therefore easier to put on.
Still, a great shaker.
