Queal bamboo mug

So in my last order I picked a second queal mug as a reward for my points.
However yesterday it was reported that the dutch food authority (NVWA) has concluded that bamboo melamine plastic release to much formaldehyde during use. And has told importers and sellers to remove them trade with immediately and will be fined if they don't. Could you please let us know if your bamboo mugs are also made of this bamboo melamine composite.

Thank you for the comment and for letting us know so quickly.

We are contacting the producer and will take out the product from the gift shop at this time.

If we hear that our mugs contain malamine, we will also let all customers know who've received these mugs.

And too bad that something that should be more sustainable turns out to be more harmful.

We quickly heard back from the producer and we're all good.

The mugs are made without melamine and it seems that the producers were made aware of the ruling earlier (so they could contact clients, but didn't contact us as these mugs didn't contain melamine).
