Premium shaker trouble

Hello everyone,

I recently got the premium MOUS shaker. Overall I am relatively happy with its design. However, I have two small issues with it:
The measurement lines are hidden behind the white plastic part - only a tiny part of it sticks out, and to check the numbers, I have to look on the inside of the shaker. Is this normal? Could my shaker be misaligned?
The second issue is a little more annoying: before drinking, I give my Queal a last shake. When I open the lid and drink, a couple of drops fall from the lid into my face. When I turn the shaker sideways, they drop on the floor. How do you guys deal with this?

EDIT: apparently the measurement is supposed to be semi-hidden, which I can certainly deal with.

Hi @BertF

Yes the lines was a design decision from MOUS and can be a bit confusing to start with but as you said you will know after the first time

For the second issue I can think of 3 things:
1) Give a tap on the top of the lid before opening, this should empty it a bit
2) Queal stays mixed quite well so it's also ok to let it sit a while after mixing
3) If no one is looking clean/empty the lid part before drinking

But without trying to be too funny here, I think option 1 would work best

Don't have that shaker but maybe the steps below will help.

Step 1: Open the lid
Step 2: Put your lips around the lid part that closes the opening
Step 3: Suck
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit!
