Quoting Wiki article on inulin side effect (see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inulin):
Intestinal discomfort, including flatulence, bloating, stomach noises, belching, and cramping
And I can corroborate that. Using Queal for two meals a day is an impossibility if I need to be next to others. WundrBars have the same effect (per calorie I would say it is worse). Reading up on the ingredients I assume that it is inulin which causes this.
Using Queal when hiking would be a good, if it hadn't been for these side effects. When you hike it is even more important that you have a happy stomach.
I would assume that other users have experienced the same effects?
The first generations of Queal came with the fat as something that you added yourself. Would it possible to do the same with inulin? For those who tolerate it is probably good, but for others no so.
The Lite version seems to be without inulin? Why not make all versions without this?
If not, could you reduce the amount. Trying to figure out how much there is, I would guess that there is about 10.7g in a package. In some studies, the recommended daily dose seems to be less than half of that.
