Break up the portions. I keep my shaker bottle in the fridge and pour part of it into a glass (3 glasses to a full bottle with the recommended amount of water), which I take to my desk to sip on while doing other things. That way, even if I gulp that glass down (I still have that urge though I try to control it), I won't immediately go get another. Drinking 3 glasses like this, spread out over half an hour or more, sates my hunger quite well.
