We've got some big news; We're making some changes to our flavour line-up!
Over the next few months, you can expect the following to happen:
Improved Funky Forest Fruit flavour
What:
We have developed an improved flavouring for our Funky Forest Fruit products.
The new flavour is slightly more pronounced (though not by much), and has a more complex flavour profile.
The current/earlier version of Funky Forest Fruit was fairly mild. Really just oatmeal with a hint of forest fruit.
This new and improved flavour is a lot more raspberry-ish, with a more complex tone of blueberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, and strawberries. So far we have received wildly enthusiastic feedback from a small test-group.
Why:
The current/earlier Funky Forest Fruit flavour was not uniformly enjoyed. Although there's a small and very passionate group of Funky Forest Fruit-lovers, most people ranked the flavour among the bottom three picks.
After some trial runs we found a new flavour-recipe which is still in the spirit of Funky Forest Fruit but much more uniformly enjoyed. We can't wait for you to try it, too!
When:
We will be implementing the improved recipe on a type-by-type basis:
- Starting around mid-June the Funky Forest Fruit Standard will have an improved recipe.
- Around mid-July the Funky Forest Fruit Athletic will also be improved.
- We're not sure yet on the timeline for Lite, but we'll keep you updated!
Removing Crazy Chocolate Peanut flavour
What:
We have decided to drop Crazy Chocolate Peanut from our line-up altogether.
Why:
Crazy Chocolate Peanut is a love-it-or-hate-it flavour. It is also far-and-away the least popular flavour (in terms of sales) across all three of our diet-types.
With the permanent introduction of Chocolate Hazelnut Happiness (see also below), yet another chocolate-based flavour, there was the opportunity to drop the flavour altogether. This will allow us production room to keep on experimenting with new and exciting flavour and product innovations!
When:
There's plenty of time left to stock up on Crazy Chocolate Peanut, if it's your favourite flavour.
- We anticipate both Crazy Chocolate Peanut Standard and Athletic to be removed around the end of July.
- We're not sure yet on the timeline for Lite, but definitely not sooner than August. We'll keep you updated!
Introducing Chocolate Hazelnut Happiness Lite and Athletic
What:
We'll be adding the wildly popular Nutella-inspired flavour to our Lite and Athletic diet types.
This Limited Edition turned into a regular flavour and has already been selling like crazy as part of our Standard set of flavours for several months now, and it's high time Lite and Athletic got in on the action too.
Why:
Chocolate Hazelnut Happiness Standard has become one of our most popular flavours, in a really short span of time! With the removal of Crazy Chocolate Peanut (see above) from our lineup, it's a great opportunity to strengthen the Lite and Athletic assortments with this great chocolate-based flavour as well.
When:
Definitely around July for Athletic. We're still crunching the numbers with regards to Lite, so keep an eye out here for updates!
