Dashboard Takes Ages to Load

Not always but once in a while after clicking on Dashboard link, it takes a minute or even more to load the web page. Are you aware of this issue, anyone else reported it?

Hey @SilentException, yes, we're aware of this.
Once every couple hours your stats are recalculated.
This may be triggered by you visiting the dashboard.
In that case it recalculated the stats while loading the page.
The more orders you have, the longer that takes.

So take it as a point of pride!
Because you've been such a long customer of Queal, our server needs to churn away for a while at calculating your stats.

LOL, alright I'll take is a point of pride but you should still try think about moving the stats calculation to a scheduled background job

Just a quick bump as this is not really pleasant.

Made a video during weekend, I had dashboard loaded hour or two before the video so I didn't really expect to load for that long but it still did.

Really boring video though, around 10 seconds in I click on dashboard, at 1:20 the dashboard finally loads. 1:10 of waiting...........zzzzzzz.....

It's certainly on our list of points to fix, but we're combining it with a larger overhaul of the dashboard in its entirety. It's slow going, as we have several other cool projects running at the same time (e.g. Instant Oats).

But rest assured, we are looking into it!

Was going to say not a problem here and then I read the earlier posts. I'm only on order 3 so that explains it

fyi -- I'm pretty sure Anees (search your CIC portal) can sort your dashboard code out for you if he has the time.
