Dear Quealers,
I have made a little experiment, out of mere curiosity ; also the term "Quealkies" was amusing.
It consists of little cookies, chocolate-hazelnut flavor, done very quickly and requiring the following ingredients:
- 300g of Chocolate-Hazelnut Queal (the one and only)
- 130g of soft butter (thereabout, i did not exactly measure)
- Some sugar, to your preference
Mash it all up all together until it gets the consistency of wet sand (it really does get as such).
Make little pallets, and put them in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for about 10min.
And here are some very edible hazelnut Quealkies:
They taste quite fine but have some very odd consistency. Very sandy, crunchy and dry, similar to pepparkakor if there are any swedes here familiar with it.
Apologies for the lack of precision, I've really done this as I felt it and didn't quite measure anything properly.
The recipe is as basic as it gets, do share if you have made more sophisticated experiments and adjustments!
