[Bug] Order confirmation mail sent twice

Hello!

It's been like this since at least my first order in September 2015, but I've only thought now to tell you about it: the confirmation mail for new orders is always sent twice.

Excerpt from recent orders:

In case that helps with log checking, here are the Message-ID headers for the last two:

I also have the confirmation emails twice, and already notified @Onno_Queal about it.
Not too much of a problem, but too bad we don't receive the order twice...

You're taking a huge risk saying that my dude, I'm pretty sure @Onno_Queal's right over there carefully writing that down. Expect a double bank account withdrawal along with your next "double" order...

Hahaha, I'll certainly keep it in mind!

With regards to the bug:
We've spent some time trying to find the cause, without success.
But to be honest it hasn't been high on our priorities list.

However, we'll be switching over to a completely new emailing system in a few weeks time, so this will absolutely be resolved at that time.

Thanks for the detailed report though, if I find some time this week, I might take another look at it, because I can't stand the fact that this has evaded us for such a long time now.
