In essence, the best before date is there, because we can't guarantee the levels of vitamins mentioned on the bag will still be accurate after about a year. You see, vitamins degrade slowly over time. That is the only reason the best before date is set at that particular moment.
The powder (if kept dry) is still absolutely fine and nutritious to eat for at least another year. The level of vitamins might be lower a bit, though exactly by how much is not easy to tell.
No, storing Queal in the freezer cannot extend the life. Honestly, freezers are quite humid places, and are probably not the best place to store your bags. We'd recommend storing them in a cool, dark, dry place, like your cupboard!
