An aftertaste of... bacon?

I'm a new customer and gave a shot at all currently existing Queal tastes. I've tried the vanilla taste only last week, and it was fine. So, I decided to order 5 more bags of vanilla (among others), that arrived yesterday. The new bag I opened today is definitely from a different batch that the one I tasted last week. This one seems to have some disgusting aftertaste of bacon, and I barely managed to finish my shake ! However, I'm not feeling sick so far.

Has anybody already experienced that kind of aftertaste?
How is that possible?
Should I expect the same issue with the 4 remaining bags?

Hey @florimond! Thank you for reaching out to us. It's very unlikely that there's something bacon/meat-flavoured in your powder, so we definitely want to look into this. My colleague is sending you an email to ask some additional questions!

I was indeed immediately contacted by the customer support. They investigated whether there was any issues with this batch. Although they didn't find any problems with the batch, they found a solution for me.

I've been having a lot of problems in my life lately, and I'm very happy my Queal didn't become one little problem on top of the others
